Established 1947 | Legacy of Character & Leadership
Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) is the largest and most influential student organization in Pakistan, with a legacy that spans over seven decades. Founded soon after the creation of Pakistan, IJT emerged as a movement dedicated to guiding the youth toward Islamic values and constructive leadership. Over the years, it has inspired countless students to uphold integrity, discipline, and a sense of responsibility toward society. Through educational activities, moral training, and social engagement, IJT has continuously worked to reform student life and build a generation committed to the ideals of Islam and national progress.
Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba was established on 23 December 1947 in Lahore by a group of 25 students who shared the vision of promoting Islam among the youth. From a small gathering, it evolved into a well-organized movement that soon spread across universities and colleges, becoming a leading force in student life throughout Pakistan.
The primary objective of this campaign is to familiarize the younger generation with the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, promote love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and convey the message of the Prophet's blessed life to every segment of society.
In addition, the campaign seeks not only to encourage young people to incorporate the teachings of the Seerah into their personal lives, but also to strive for the implementation of the Prophet's exemplary model (Uswah Hasanah) in collective life and to promote its values throughout society.
To invite students towards Islam and to inspire them with the desire to acquire knowledge of Islam.
To organize those students under the banner of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba who are willing to work for the establishment of an Islamic way of life.
To make effective arrangements enabling students to study Islam and modern sciences, build character, and develop intellectual and physical abilities.
To strive for the implementation of an Islamic system of education in Pakistan and resolve legitimate problems faced by students.
To struggle for the establishment of a welfare and Islamic society in Pakistan, free from economic, social, and political exploitation.

Project DirectorJoined the movement in 2011. Has served in key roles including President IJT Peshawar City, President IJT Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Secretary General IJT Pakistan before being elected central President (Nazim-e-Ala) for the 2026-27 term.
A passionate advocate for student rights and education system emergency declarations. Also served as a Founding Member of the FATA Youth Jirga.
